Making a Difference Together

Newark Academy Fund Parent Ambassadors play a crucial role in fostering a culture of generosity and participation within our community. These dedicated volunteers educate fellow parents on the importance of contributing to the Newark Academy Fund, emphasizing how their support directly enhances the educational experience for all students.

Through outreach, events, and personal conversations, Parent Ambassadors inspire philanthropy and engagement, ensuring parents understand the impact of their contributions. Their commitment helps fund innovative programs, maintain facilities, provide financial aid, and enrich extracurricular activities.

All graduates and those former students who wish to be included are members of the Newark Academy Alumni Association. The Association is led by the Alumni Board of Governors (BOG) - a dynamic leadership group of 26 individuals who are responsible for supporting NA’s educational mission and to serving as a relevant catalyst for engagement between the Academy and its alumni.

The BOG works closely with the Alumni Relations staff and the Office of Institutional Advancement to plan and manage more than 20 alumni events and programs each year.

Newark Academy's Reunion Ambassadors are an important part of the school's efforts to engage alumni and ensure every class is well represented at Reunion.
 
The role of the Reunion Ambassador is easy! A Reunion Ambassador serves as a liaison between the Office of Institutional Advancement and Newark Academy Alumni, sharing information and updates regarding their class’s reunion and other NA happenings.
 
As a Reunion Ambassador, you help drive participation and engagement by: 
- Providing classmates with current NA news
- Promoting Reunion weekend attendance
- Asking for address changes
- Passing along Class Notes
- Helping to secure a reunion gift from your classmates

All Newark Academy parents and guardians are automatically members of the Newark Academy Parents Association. NAPA offers an opportunity for parents to create enduring bonds that reflect
NA’s global culture and generous spirit.

NAPA is always a work in progress. There are countless ways to volunteer and we welcome your skills, abilities, talents and ideas! NAPA volunteers work together to ensure that teachers, staff and students get the support they need.
