Choral

NA’s robust choral music program allows students to experience singing in an ensemble or through solo vocal instruction. Both beginners and experienced singers learn proper breathing, posture, and ensemble techniques such as phrasing, balance and blend.

Students are exposed to a wide range of repertoire from Baroque literature, spirituals, jazz, and multicultural songs to contemporary music. Students have several opportunities to perform throughout the year, including in the exciting Choral Concert, Choral Cabaret, and Middle and Upper Schools’ musicals.
