Visual Arts
Every brushstroke is an act of self-expression in NA’s Visual Arts Program. Students learn to embrace their creativity, explore a variety of media, from ceramics and watercolor to ink and charcoal.
Community Art Exhibit
For over 20 years, the Community Art Exhibit has been a beloved NA tradition in which students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni and friends contribute works inspired by a common theme to be on display in the David Teiger '47 Gallery for Studio Arts.
In the Middle School, students are introduced to the elements and principles of design and learn to become an appreciator of art.
In the Upper School, students deepen their understanding of art by engaging in thoughtful discussions and collaborative critiques, where they analyze and evaluate artworks while learning from each other.
